After everything was loaded into the containers and they were sealed and locked Daryl and Shaun delivered the last load of furniture we’d sold while Jessica and I did a walk through and gathered together the last few things that were either heading North or going to the dump to make loading quicker in the morning. Then considering we no longer had any furniture or food in the house, we headed to Terrace Downs Luxury Golf Resort for the night and when they say luxury they mean luxury as they even had robes for the kids!
Our new neighbours have been incredibly generous and given us the use of their house while they are in Papa New Guinea so we are practically living on site which means we get to see everything on the house as it happens and are able to get things done on the farm in a much cruisier manner with the only time constraint being daylight.
The septic tanks were must easier to bring up the drive as a chain was just looped over the top of the tractor’s bucket and attached to the tanks and then just picked up and driven up.
